	click to enlarge    One of our most unique logs - with chain dog scars and oak peg holes - truly a piece of American History that contains the story of the early pioneers of our country, rafting logs to sawmills by means of the only type of transportation at the time - waterways.  Many times loggers lived on these rafts for months to reach their destination of the sawmill, taking their families along, living in tents erected on the raft of logs.
